Description:

Gain the practical skills and fundamental architectural knowledge you need to enter the workplace after graduation. You'll study building code standards, materials, project planning and more. Skills you'll learn include: 2D and 3D Computer-aided Design and Drafting (CADD), Building Information Modeling (BIM), visual problem-solving, preparation of contract documents and specifications and envelope detailing. During our annual Architecture Week, you’ll work with other architecture students on design challenges assigned by real clients from the community. You’ll also have the chance to learn from guest speakers who are current industry leaders, discussing topics such as sustainability, new buildings and more.
